Hello, I'm a creative technologist specializing in sustainable 𖦹 and user-centered ✿ design

My journey spans climate-resilient design, architecture, AI art, and strategic design consultancy for cleantech.

I’m a designer and strategist based in San Francisco, creating user-centered UX, branding, and storytelling for climate-tech, health, and sustainability teams. Through my studio, I help mission-driven startups and organizations communicate clearly and grow with intention. Before launching Makio Studio, I spent a decade working on urban and coastal resilience projects across Boston, Miami Beach, and San Francisco—grounded in systems thinking shaped at Harvard Graduate School of Design.I also founded Women+ AI Artists (WAIA), a global community celebrating women & LGBTQ+ creatives in AI art, with features in publications and exhibitions under my artist name Loominora.Lately, I’ve been exploring ocean-positive materials, especially seaweed, as part of a growing interest in regenerative design. I’m drawn to work that helps heal both people and planet.
